I've seen advertisements for Olay's new Fresh Effects Line on TV a lot.

 I love how Olay Fresh Effects offers six skin care benefits in one line.

 Starting with the S'Wipe Out Refreshing Make Up Removal Cloths to help remover dirt and make up even waterproof mascara. This is why I was super excited to be receiving a full size product courtesy of Influenster's SunKissedVoxBox and Olay!!

My everyday makeup routine is non existent. I literally throw on some eye shadow mascara and a bit of pressed powered and lip gloss. I've never used a foundation or eye liner and here is the BIG NO NO I've never used a moisturizer or sunscreen!! The first day I tried the BB Cream I have to admit that I didn't really like because I felt a bit oily. I did notice how it covered the sun spots I have and helped even out my complexion. So I decided to give it another try and completely get ready for the day. Here's how it turned out.

 

 

You can clearly see a big difference. I agree that it:

 Brightens for a radiant glow
Evens tone with a splash of sheer color
 Hydrates for 24 hours
 Smoothes for softer feeling skin
 Protects against UV damage with SPF 15 

 When my husband got home he said I looked great. I asked does it look like I'm wearing a lot of makeup and he said, no you look really nice. I will definitely be purchasing the BB cream in the future and trying the rest of the Fresh Effects line.

I love yellow-However I've never been daring enough to paint my nails yellow!

It's really hard for me to keep my nails painted since I'm always washing hands thanks to potty training, dishes, cleaning, etc...The color never stays on. But with SinfulShine with Gel Tech I gave it a try and WOW the color stayed on for more then a few days(which is the norm for me). I also didn't have to put a shiny clear top coat on because it already looked shinier than a patent leather shoe when I finished polishing.

Walgreens is currently selling the SinfulShine Colors with Gel Tech however I went and they did not have a very good display.

                                            

So I went to another store (not Walgreens) and saw this beautiful display!

Come on Walgreens you need to put up an awesome display like this. I'm drawn to the one on the right not the one on the left.

I do in fact love the many color options Sinful colors provides

 

 and the retail price isn't bad, $2.99 for the SinfulShine with Gel Tech. I would say it does compare with more expensive nail polishes. For a penny pincher like me I'd have to go with SinfulShine with Gel Tech. Thanks again to Influenster.com and Sinful Nail Colors.

 

 

 

 

"Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics"

For as long as I can remember Goody Hair Products have been my go to for all my hair needs when it comes to bobby pins, clips, elastics, brushes, combs, etc...That is why I was really excited to have received these compliments of Influenster's SunKissedVoxBox.

The colors were great because black and grey can go with just about every outfit and the purple and pink were nice to ad just a bit of color. I first tried these on my hair and they worked ok. But let me tell you why. I have really long thick hair and the elastic did not stretch enough to really hold my hair how I like it (in a bun). They did however work great for when I wanted it in a ponytail or for tying the ends of my braids.

 

As you can see my bun wasn't really staying.

 

I did also use them on my daughters hair and they worked great kept her hair in a ponytail all day well she swam at the pool.

I would recommend Goody Hair Products to everyone!

I recently browsed the website www.goody.com and saw several more items I'm going to add to my shopping list for next time.

 The quickstyle paddle brush  removes 30% of water.

 

And the tanglefix to minimize breakage.

"Dr. Scholl's For Her High Heel Insoles"

I recently had the privilege of trying out the Dr. Scholl's For Her High Heel Insoles.

One of my favorite so far has been the Dr. Scholl's For Her High Heel Insoles. Why? Well I have to admit that I do not wear high heels often but when I do they are far from comfortable. I have tried to purchase different styles, brands, etc...but just can't seem to find a comfortable pair of high heels. I hear they are out there but...I have found Dr. Scholl's!! I can't say I worked all day in heels or I was dancing the night away. I did however get dolled up for a couple of hours, putting on a cute summer black and white dress with these black heels I've worn once before(a long-long time ago) and went out for a little get together with friends.

The last time I wore these heels my feet were killing me by the time I took them off. But After using the Dr. Scholl's for Her High Heel Insoles I was able to take them off and not have to squint my eyes in pain. You know how sometimes in heels like this your feet slide up well the insoles helped with keeping my feet in place as well. I might not wear heels often but when I do I will definitely be using Dr. Scholl's in them. So have I found a comfortable high heel? No! I've found Dr. Scholl's For Her High Heel Insoles! Ivory 2 in 1 Hair and Body wash

I was recently selected by Ivory and Influenster to try out the

New Ivory 2 in 1 Hair and Body wash!

 

 

It smells great and my hubby loves it! He really likes that he just has to have 1 bottle in the shower. Makes me laugh after watching the cute ad from Ivory. Check out Ivory's facebook page or click link below to watch.

As for me I love the smell too! So definitely using in shower as a body wash but not on my hair. I have wavy hair and I have to have something that adds a lot of conditioning to my hair. I've also been a bit hesitant on trying on the kiddos too! They have eczema and really sensitive skin so I'll have to pass for now.

 

I would recommend for those looking to simplify there shower routine! Add a few minutes to that morning coffee break or that evening me time.

 

I would also recommend Ivory products to all in general.

I also use the hand soap in all my bathrooms!

Garnier Triple Nutrition Miracle Dry Oil

For Hair, Skin, and Face??  You Decide!

 

I was fortunate to receive a full size bottle of Garnier Triple Nutrition Miracle Dry Oil from Garnier and BzzAgent.

 

I was super excited to try this product out because over the winter months my skin and hair became super dry.

I first used it on my hair-directions say to spray on and style as usual so that's what I did. On busy days(mommy of twins) I wear  my hair scrunched just put in mousse. So I used the oil and then the mousse and that was not a good combination. My hair became so knotted and ratty throughout the day. So I definitely do not recommend that combination. Sorry no picture though.

 

I then attempted to use on my super dry legs and I really loved the was it went on no greasy/oily mess and it made my legs shiny/smooth and I loved they way this smells. It also helped with the dark spots on my knees.

 

 

I plan on using throughout the summer instead of lotion.

 

The second time I tried using in my hair was when I had straightened and then curled my hair by the end of the day my hair wasn't really curled anymore to I thought I would put in a ponytail, but I first sprayed a little Garnier Triple Nutrition Miracle Dry Oil in it. Viola-it added some shine and made my hair smell great.

 



 

Overall my I would rate this an 8 out of 10. I like the fact it can be used on skin and hair. The only thing I didn't try was on my face because I already have combination skin so I didn't like that would be a good idea.

Last day to Bzz about the Schick Hyrdo Silk razor!

 

I've used it and I like it. I would have to say its definitely comparable to others however I really liked the moisture strip and how long it lasts. Its activated with water although I used shaving cream I could still see the moisturizing serum on my legs. It was not irritating to my sensitive skin thanks to the 5 curve sensing blades. I like the look and the fact you can hang it up or lay it down in the shower just make sure the water is not hitting it constantly. This is a refillable razor and you can purchase both the razor and refills at most retailers like Walmart and Target. As well as at the drugstores like Walgreens. I would recommend all the ladies at least try the Shick Hyrdo Silk Razor for themselves and see how it works for you.

Got-Silky Smooth Legs?

Thanks again to BzzAgent and of course Schick for sending me this great product to review for free!

 

I couldn't wait to recieve this in the mail. I had seen at the store several times but I was waiting for a sale or coupon to purchase it. So when I was accepted for this mission I was totally excited!

 

 

It arrived with the razor, an informational booklet about the razor and $5off coupons to spread the word to all my friends and family!

 

Of course I wanted to use right a way but being a mommy of twins I hardly get time to myself-especially to shave. (Ha, ha, ha!)

 

So I put it in the shower to use when I get the chance. Decided to hang it up, since it comes with the suction cup for the wall.

 

Finally-some time to myself to actually take a shower and shave!



 

  Before: Really dry sensitive skin.

 

 

 

 

 Durning-Although I used shave cream I could see the moisture serum on my legs (silky smooth)

 

 

After- No hair so that's good, but overall I would say this razor is comparable to others. I did like the fact that the moisture strip is really moisturizing. I have sensitive dry skin to begin with so the fact it did not irriate my skin is really good. I would recommend this razor to others and I would probably buy if it was on sale or I had a coupon. Shick is a well know brand I would say is trustworthy and puts out great products.

Expressing my thoughts on Glade Expressions!

 

Thanks to Glade and BzzAgent I was able to try out two new Glade products. The Glade Expressions Oil Diffuser

 



 

I placed the Fuji Apples & Cardamom spice in the man room. It blended in well, but it made the room smell great. That was the prefect scent not to girly yet not to overwhelming.

 

I then placed the Glade Expressions Spray in the good ol Bathroom!

 

 

The Cotton & Italian Mandarin makes the room smell like crisp clean laundry.  Who doesn't love the smell of fresh laundry!

 

Overall I would recommed both. The Oil Diffuser is great for a smaller room, the smell started out strong but then dwindled. The spray is prefect for the whole house not just the bathroom. When you need a quick way to freshen the house use the spray. Thank you so much to Glade and BzzAgent for the great product to review.

The Taste: Tuesday at 8|7c on ABC

 

 

 

If you haven't tuned in to the lastest from ABC "The Taste" you should! Especially if you like reality TV, cooking, and drama all combined into one. Sixteen competitors being judged on a single TASTE of what they can  conjure up during each challenge all while being timed. Each week two competiors will be given the boot determined not only by the four world renowned judges but also the guest judges each week.

To Stream or Not to Stream?

 

I received and invite from BzzAgent to try out the new service from Redboxinstant.com. This service allows you to pay a low monthly fee of $8 bucks in order to receive unlimited streaming of a select few movies and then you receive 4 credit rentals to use at the actual kiosk.

 

 My first experience with this service was awesome I was able to watch one of my favorite 80's movies for free without having to run to the kiosk or rental store. And the streaming was really great no delays at all.

 

 

My second attempt to stream a movie was a little bit of a bummer. I wanted to watch a newer release and saw that it cost $4.99 plus tax to watch it streaming, so I made the mistake of thinking that my credits could be used to rent and watch it streaming. That was not the case the credits could only be used to rent from the kiosk. So I could have ran to the kiosk and rented it for free but... I ended up paying the $4.99 plus tax!

 

So when it comes down to it I don't think I'd purchase this service for $8 dollars a month when you can go to the kiosk and rent the newer releases for $1.20 on DVD. Lesson learned "make sure you read all the fine print"!
